now that open house is over..i have no more purpose in life...haha. somehow, after all my responsibilites have been fulfilled, many other issues seem to pop up. Open house and promos are over, and on one hand, life seems more slow-paced and relaxed, yet forgotten issues arise as a result.
on duno which day, after school i was bored and we headed to marigold mews! i got forced to watch MG..but it wasn't too bad cos i kinda got the hang of the story. ali's maid cooks yummy chicken wings! im going back to marigold mews soon to eat more =) i hope. and her brother is GGXX tall!! and her mother is ggxx funny. and ali has a ggxx tweety bird shirt
oh yeah...the issue of whats going to happen to RJ gym next year has popped up. we have no more budget for a coach, and so we kinda have stopped training..although i think training is resuming. i really hope we can compete as a team next year...and not individuals.
oh yeah and my family is going overseas from 9-13 nov. im not going cos of my PW OP, which is on the 14th. not that i mind...i'd rather stay in singapore
anyway the 24th farewell committee has started working! but kudos to licia because i've been slacking haha
and dance has been disastrous...latin, notably. i felt so pressured when laoshi came to preview us because it was really my first time dancing with the music and i looked like a chicken with two left feet next to natalie...it was quite embarrassing but it got better after we repeated it several times. i hope i dont make a fool out of myself! angie was really encouraging =)
and there was an issue which popped up because of a fateful jog during PE..sighhhhhhhh. life can be full of regrets sometimes..alot of what-ifs have been popping up ever since.
ya so i was quite depressed cos of all these issues. ali dene leslie just all have been listening to my woes..you all mean alot to me! except leslie...who's a ggxx
so i couldn't really enjoy zuzu's bday party which was on friday. on a happier note,we went to clare's house to celebrate it and rayner was so funny because he was the human present! i bet zuzu LOVED it..haha. we bought yummy food and we feasted at her house after the surprise! we also formed the words 'happy bday' with candles and i bet zuzu cried, like she always does. even when watching MG!!
then on saturday i watched TRANSPORTER 2. i thought it was quite good! but i stil want to watch goal!
and i've taken a liking to chinese pop songs! my father keeps playing them. haha. the same old few , like xiao wei, qing fei de yi. all the really old hits!
sigh the next week will be packed with dance practices for chingay and the 5th november performance, not forgetting the workshops...hai yo.
i hope planning for orientation will be fun =) i tihnk im in storyline committee !

i can't really tell whether open house was a success, i personally was quite disappointed with the turnout, i thought there'd be many more people visiting. nevertheless, it was the big day, the day in which the success of our repetitive and longwinded briefings depended much on the befriender's initiative. it was really quite messy, getting all the befrienders to the LT exits and making sure they were there. Plus, many didn't want school tours. But at least they'll know there's someone always willing to take them around, so i guess its not too bad =)
i was really perplexed that day because i was supposed to go on stage after the matriculation talks to give a short briefing with just, on what we had in store for the RI boys/RG girls. And it so happened that the RG matriculation talked was occurring simultaneously with the hiphop item! so i was running to and fro from LT5(the place where the performers gathered) to LT1 to the amphi, seeing which would come first. the hiphop item came first, so i rannn down to the amphi. prior to that, i had to switch shirts with justin because i forgot to bring my black shirt!! so i was wearing the RJC RUGBY shirt all day and everyone was giving me weird looks. thank you justin! if u ever see this. maybe evelyn can help me tell =)
anyway, hiphop item was fun! i was practically laughing throughout the performance because of familiar faces in the crowd laughing at me. especially geri and hide. but we received really good feedback so well done to everyone! thanks to peishan, cat, nahnah for helping to choreograph the item, and all the dancers for being so cooperative in turning up for practice sessions. and cat is very irritating.
modern and latin were really good too...but the performances at LT2 weren't widely publicised enough i think. and chinese dance was amusing, as usual. HAHA
after that, we had dinner at fish and co! with a mixture of people including open house committee people, befrienders, etc. i ate until i was SUPER SUPER FULL.
ok g2g i'll continue this antoher time!! BYEBYE

hey..its been a week since i last blogged. i've gotten back most of the promos results, and they're pretty much the same as my CT results...but i really studied hard. this time the exam jitters got me, so i screwed up for some subjects. perhaps there wasn't enough practice, but im somewhat grateful for the screwup in chem. at first i got a C...when i was expecting an A. i was flabbergasted...and my hopes of taking chem 's' vanished instantaneously...i was at a loss and i just started crying in class..it was really bad.
maybe it was due to complacency, maybe it was cos i didn't practise enough, maybe it was cos i didn't bring my calculator in so i had to borrow cedric's which i didn't know how to use, maybe it was cos i did section A last and i wasn't used to it so i panicked...
through all this, i realised that many many people will always be by my side whenever i fell. many many friends comforted me and assured that i'll be able to take chem 's'...and my teacher was feeling really sorry because she felt she was at fault for giving the advice that we should do section B and C first, and junli was constantly checking on me to see whether i was okay. i got messages from classmates telling me to cheer up, like from kengwee and jonsng..there was just so much love.
so i think sometimes it takes some awful thing to happen to make u realise how wonderul the people around you are =)anywway, miss soh took back my paper and added a few marks so i got a B. which is still kind of depressing but nevermind!
My other subjects were okay i guess. Apart from the academic aspect of school...open house preparations have been quite draining. But manageable! Just and i have a pretty good understanding....and the first befrienders meeting was quite successful in the sense that 240/280 people turned up. for those absentees we had to painstakingly call them up -_- but nevermind!
Apart from befrienders, cat and i had to worry about hiphop too, but its piecing together =) somehow we've managed to learn most of the dance steps and the hiphop item more or less looks okay =D hope we can put up a good performance during open house!
oh yes and PW's been a nightmare.
at least there are some things which have made me smilee =)

hey..these few marking days haven't been much of a holiday for me. open house is a week away..and i've been staying up practically everynight to finish up the befriender booklet stuff. nevertheless, there were some events which did add colour to an otherwise mundane 'holiday'...
IHC was quite successful, i think. quite a lot of people turned up for the track meet, and it really was quite fun. it was really unfortunate that some people like jem took part in so many races , but didn't get a single gold so there wasn't a trophy for him to take home!! while cheaters like me took part in 2 races and in the race where i hardly contributed, we got gold. thanks to donovan, sharman and nabil! :) and i think council did quite well too for inter-cca race! i was supposed to flip across the line if i were last but i wasn't so i didn't hahaha.
after that i choreographed a dance for dance night with cat. it was quite fun! buti had to count all the beats in the song and divide them into sections..so we could choreograph more organizedly. peishan helped a lot too...hope it will be a success!
the 2 days before, we had to endure the pretty awful CCAL camp...but i guess it wasn't TOO bad. the invited entrepreneur who set up 1.99 shop had an uncanny resemblance to joob's behaviour...haha. and the public speaking workshop was so funny cos the random number thing was so rigged! yongjin is a rigger rigger rigger.
the rest of the time we were teaching the councillors the open house dance. i can remember it now! =)
oh and i watched corpse bride with joobs on tuesday...it was quite nice i think, but the movie was really short. but the ramen after that was REALLY GOOD! except for the price.
can't wait till after 21st =) for >1 reasons haha

hey..promos are over =) after 2 days of just playing, i realised there were lots of responsibilities waiting for me, including the planning for open house, choreographing a new hiphop dance featuring both guys and girls, and disgusting PW.
preparations for promos would've been much more awful without all the nice people studying in the library with me : )
open house is less than 2 weeks away =( there's a lot of planning to be done cos the admin rejected several proposals.
anyway i gotta go to my grandmas house already..tomorrow we're playing soccer vs another church! =D i miss soccer. haha..and i hope preparation for dance will be fun!! new dance..finally
